TREATMENT

The right level of care, at every stage of recovery

Addiction treatment isn't one-size-fits-all. Our clinicians assess where you are and build a plan that steps down in intensity as you grow stronger — without ever handing you off to another provider.

One-on-one counseling at RIONH
Step 1

Medical Detox

Typically 5–10 days
Program details →

Withdrawal can be dangerous — and deeply uncomfortable — without medical help. Our detox unit provides 24/7 nursing care, physician-managed medication protocols, and a calm, private environment so your body can stabilize safely before treatment begins.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
24/7 nursing & physician oversight
Comfort medication protocols
Private & semi-private rooms
Step 2

Residential / Inpatient

Typically 30-90 days
Program details →

Live on campus and focus entirely on recovery. Days are structured around individual therapy, group work, and skill-building, with peers and staff around the clock. Family programming keeps the people who matter involved from day one.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Daily individual & group therapy
Structured daily schedule
Family program & visitation
Step 3

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

5–6 days a week, day hours
Program details →

The intensity of residential treatment with evenings at home or in sober living. PHP is the bridge between 24/7 care and independent life — full clinical days, real-world nights.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
25+ hours of weekly programming
Psychiatric & medication management
Sober-living placement available
Step 4

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

3–5 sessions a week
Program details →

Keep your job, school, and family commitments while getting serious clinical support. Morning and evening tracks make it workable around real schedules.

9–15 hours weekly, day or evening
Relapse-prevention skill groups
Random drug screening & accountability
Step 5

WHAT WE TREAT

Substance use and everything tangled up with it

Alcohol

Medically managed withdrawal, naltrexone and acamprosate where appropriate, and therapy focused on the routines drinking is woven into.

Opioids & fentanyl

Buprenorphine-based detox and MAT, overdose-reversal education for families, and long-term maintenance planning.

Stimulants

Cocaine and methamphetamine care built on contingency management — the most effective evidence-based approach for stimulant use.

Benzodiazepines

Slow, physician-supervised tapers that keep withdrawal safe, paired with treatment for the anxiety underneath.

Cannabis & other substances

Structured outpatient care for cannabis, kratom, and emerging substances — taken as seriously as any other addiction.

Co-occurring mental health

Psychiatric care for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder delivered alongside addiction treatment, not after it.

OUR APPROACH

Evidence-based, trauma-informed, and personal

Every treatment plan combines proven clinical methods — CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and medication-assisted treatment where appropriate — with family involvement and peer recovery support.

Individual therapy
Weekly one-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician
Group therapy
Process, skills, and relapse-prevention groups daily
Family program
Education and counseling for the people who love you
Peer support
Recovery coaches with lived experience on every unit
